We’re super busy getting ready to make Pride Cymru’s Big Weekend 2018 the biggest and best yet! We’re also sure that many of you may have burning questions that just need answering and hopefully this is the page for you.
Below we’ve compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions but if we still haven’t been able to give you the answer your looking for please do get in touch.
Do I have to print off my tickets? No, you will be sent an e-ticket that you can use on the day on whatever device you would usually use.
Are tickets available on the door? Yes, you can buy tickets at any of our entrance gates subject to availability. We accept both cash and card payments.
What time should I arrive? We recommend you enter the site as soon as possible. Entry post parade on the Saturday will see large delays. Be prepared to queue!
Where can I buy tickets? All of our online tickets can be purchased here. Online ticket sales for individual days will close one hour before opening times.
What if I’ve enetered the wrong email when purchasing tickets? Please email firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your order reference where possible.
Is there an age restriction? No, but anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. There’s also a dedicated family zone for kids of all ages.
Are there children’s tickets available? Under 14s go free when accompanied by a paying adult. All other tickets are at a standard set price.
Are there VIP tickets? Yes, VIP (Saturday sold out) tickets are available here.
When is the parade? The Parade takes place on Saturday from 11am until around 1pm. You can see the parade route here.
When does the event start/finish? Running from the 24th- 26th the event opening times are as follows: Friday 5-11pm, Saturday 12-11pm, Sunday 12-11pm
When is last entry? Last entry will be at 10:30pm each day.
Can you leave the event site and go back in? No, you’ll need to purchase another ticket to get back in.
Can I bring a bag? Yes, there will be a bag check at each entrance gate. Bringing bags will however, slow down entry into the event. Once checked your bag will be tagged and you’re free to go and enjoy the day.
Can I bring food? Yes, you may bring enough food for yourself but we do discourage large picnic baskets and hampers. There will also be a lot of street food stalls and vendors on site so save yourself some room for a tasty treat.
Can I bring my own Alcohol? No, as with other large events we cannot allow people to bring their own alcohol on site. There will however be plenty of bars dotted around, including a Gin bar!!
Can I bring soft drinks? Yes, but as with food we ask that you keep this to a minimm, drink of all varieties will be available throughout the event.
Are dogs allowed on site? Yes, we also have guide dog facilities available.
Is it a family event? Yes there will be music, stalls and a family area with plenty of activities.
What do I do if I want to volunteer? If you’d like to volunteer and help make it a weekend to remember you can register here.
